Speak English for Christmas
Three Steps towards Speaking English for Christmas
Start 2026 feeling confident when speaking English, for work, social purposes or personal interests. It's much easier to speak English than you might think - you probably already have 'a little English' - and with the 3 steps outlined below, you'll soon gain confidence discussing a range of subjects with friendly fellow learners and a highly experienced English teacher.

Step 1: Get Prepared...
We often rehearse what we're going to say before important conversations, and when speaking a new language, this is doubly important. A week before class, we send you a document to prepare you with the language you'll need to benefit fully in lessons. This includes a list of questions for you to think about and use as the basis of class discussions. Now when you meet your fellow learners, you're more prepared to speak English - confidence builds, and conversations become much better, faster!

Step 2: Talk talk talk...
Many language courses, whether online or face to face, focus on learning grammar and vocabulary. Students read long articles and do text-based tasks, with little opportunity to practice their speaking and listening. From 30 years experience, both as a teacher and language learner, I know that putting communication first is vital. Of course, grammar and vocabulary are important - and I'm here to answer all your questions, but classes are for YOU to practice your language skills, and Speak English for Christmas gives you the maximum opportunity to benefit from real life conversations.
Step 3: Fully Supported
Inbetween classes, you can join our WhatsApp group for any English questions you may have - either for the teacher or other learners. It's a great way to informally practice your language skills. With learners' permission, classes are video recorded so if you're unable to attend for any reason, you can catch up on what you missed. And you can always email!
